National Geographic Indication Protected Products

Zilin and Kouzhun Shanxi aged vinegar obtained national geographic indication product protection.

In 2008, according to the "Regulations on the Protection of Geographical Indication Products", the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine approved "Zilin and Kouzhun Shanxi aged vinegar" for national geographic indication product protection.

In 2020, authorized by the European Union, the first significant bilateral trade agreement between the EU and China was signed, namely the EU-China Geographical Indications Agreement. The first batch of 100 Chinese geographical indications received EU protection, including Shanxi aged vinegar.
