4 Month 20 On the date, "Vinegar Fragrance for Thousands of Miles, Ingenious Craftsmanship"—the new book launch event for Li Xiaojuan's long-form children's novel, "The Last Copper Finger Cap," was held at our company. This event was hosted by Zilin Vinegar Industry, co-organized by Hope Publishing House and Taiyuan Writers Association, aiming to build a multi-dimensional platform based on the development concept of "culture empowering industry, industry supporting culture," allowing authors and readers to resonate deeply and promoting the integration and symbiosis of cultural industries.
At the event, more than forty guests from the provincial and municipal writers associations, publishing circles, and education circles gathered together to witness the new book launch. Yan Yufeng, deputy general manager of our company, said in his speech: "Zilin Vinegar Industry's collaboration with the literary world provides a bridge for cultural exchange for creators. We hope that the words rooted in life and reflecting society can, like aged vinegar, precipitate a rich and mellow flavor."
In the new book unveiling segment, hundreds of books were stacked in the shape of vinegar jars, showcasing the masterpiece "The Last Copper Finger Cap" in a unique way. Hope Publishing House editor, Xu Yuansue, gave an in-depth interpretation of the work with its dual storyline of "intangible cultural heritage inheritance and children's growth." Author Li Xiaojuan recounted her creative process and shared the inspiration she gained from the old vinegar workshop in Qingxu: "The copper finger cap is both a traditional vinegar-making tool and a symbol of craftsmanship. I hope that through this story, readers can feel the warmth of 'preserving craftsmanship.'"
The event included a special book donation segment, donating books to Qingxu County Library, Youth Activity Center, Zilin Vinegar Culture Museum, and three primary and secondary schools. Wang Xiasheng, a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage inheritor, performed lotus-style ballads and ventriloquism, cleverly blending vinegar-making techniques with folk arts; the recitation of novel excerpts by students from Qingxu Experimental Middle School interpreted the profound connotation of "craftsmanship inheritance" in a child's voice. At the end of the event, the guests visited the Zilin Vinegar Industrial Park, experiencing the industrial charm of "traditional and modern symbiosis" in the millennium vinegar history exhibition and the intelligent production line.
In the future, Zilin Vinegar Industry will continue to protect every cultural craftsmanship, making good books, like good vinegar, an indispensable part of every household's "spiritual seasoning."
