Mao Zedong (December 26, 1893 – September 9, 1976), courtesy name Runzhi, pen name Ziren, was from Xiangtan, Hunan. He was the leader of the Chinese people, a great Marxist, a proletarian revolutionary, strategist, and theorist, and the main founder and leader of the Communist Party of China, the People's Liberation Army, and the People's Republic of China. He was a politician, military strategist, poet, and calligrapher.

I Commemorating the 129th Anniversary of Chairman Mao's Birth

A boy was born on December 26, 1893, in Shaoshanchong, Xiangtan County, Hunan Province. He later became a figure who influenced all of China and the world: the founder of the People's Republic of China – Mao Zedong.

In his youth, Comrade Mao Zedong established the lofty aspiration of saving the nation from peril. In his subsequent revolutionary career, whether "turning the world upside down" or "facing arduous tasks," he remained unwavering and persistent in his pursuit. He creatively solved a series of major problems concerning the combination of the basic principles of Marxism-Leninism with the realities of China. He profoundly analyzed the social formations and class conditions in China, and through tireless exploration, clarified the nature, target, tasks, and driving force of the Chinese revolution. He proposed a two-step strategy of achieving socialism through the New Democratic Revolution, formulated the general line of the New Democratic Revolution, and opened up a revolutionary path of encircling cities from the countryside and ultimately seizing nationwide victory.

In his glorious life of tireless struggle for the Chinese people, Comrade Mao Zedong's thoughts were profound and far-reaching, his mind open and broad, his talents both civil and military. He was deeply concerned for the people, and established immortal achievements for the Chinese nation and people.

On the 129th anniversary of Chairman Mao's birth, we cherish his memory even more, and admire even more the great achievements he made for the cause of liberation of the Chinese people and the cause of socialist construction.

While developing itself, it has devoted itself to social welfare undertakings, repeatedly showing its ardent love in supporting health, education, humanistic care, culture and art, and urban construction – supporting the Wenchuan disaster area, establishing the Culifang health center, sponsoring the Shanxi Spring Festival Gala to share the glorious times with the people of Sanjin, exclusively sponsoring the film "Xiaocun Guan under Pufeng Mountain," a main melody film reflecting college village officials taking root in rural areas and building a new socialist countryside, to encourage more college students to actively participate in rural areas and serve farmers; in 2015 and 2016, it exclusively sponsored Taiyuan's 100 public welfare wedding events for two consecutive years to commend outstanding workers; in 2016, it exclusively sponsored the first Qingxu County Spring Festival Gala; in 2019, it sponsored the "Second Youth Games"; during the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020, it donated the first batch of anti-epidemic funds from non-public organizations in Qingxu County through the Qingxu County Red Cross Society; in 2021, when many parts of Shanxi suffered severe rainstorms and floods, the company donated 1 million yuan through the Qingxu County Red Cross Society; during the COVID-19 epidemic in 2022, it donated materials through the Qingxu County Party Committee and County Government, contributing our modest efforts to fight the epidemic and offering our support to frontline anti-epidemic personnel.
