On the morning of July 25, 2019, the launching ceremony for the donation of 700,000 bottles of aged vinegar from Qingxu, the "Vinegar Capital of China", was successfully held at the Vinegar Capital Square in Qingxu County. The ceremony was hosted by the CPC Qingxu County Committee and the Qingxu County People's Government, undertaken by the Qingxu County Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, and co-organized by the Qingxu Vinegar Industry Association.

Luo Jianchun, Chairman of Zilin Vinegar Industry and President of the Qingxu Vinegar Industry Association, delivered an impassioned speech. Wang Linyu, Secretary of the Qingxu County Committee, gave an important address and officially announced the launch of the donation activity.

The folk saying, "Vinegar brewing since ancient times is counted in Shanxi, tracing its roots to Qingxu," vividly illustrates Qingxu's important position in the national vinegar industry development. As the authentic origin of Shanxi aged vinegar, Qingxu is the largest vinegar production base in China, and its aged vinegar is well-known throughout the country.

 

 

In November 2018, in order to implement the strategic planning and layout of the Qingxu County Committee and County Government in the vinegar industry development, and to meet the strong desire of the vast number of vinegar enterprises in Qingxu to work together to maximize the strength of Qingxu's vinegar industry and achieve the "double hundred" strategic goal of 1 million tons of vinegar production capacity and 10 billion yuan in annual industrial output value proposed by the County Committee and County Government, 45 vinegar enterprises in Qingxu County jointly initiated the establishment of the Qingxu Vinegar Industry Association.

 

 

In March 2019, during the 100th National Sugar and Wine Fair, Qingxu vinegar enterprises made a group appearance and held a Qingxu aged vinegar Chengdu promotion meeting. To achieve innovative development in the vinegar industry, the 2019 China Vinegar and Seasoning Wine Industry Innovation Development Forum was held at Taiyuan Yingze Hotel in May. At the forum, the Qingxu Vinegar Association announced to the nation that during the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Qingxu Vinegar Industry Association would collect 700,000 bottles of aged vinegar for donation, aiming to practice the association's tenet of "inheritance, standardization, and development".

The fragrance of vinegar in Qingxu has created the taste of Shanxi and forged the high-quality products of Sanjin.

The history of Qingxu vinegar is splendid, and its glory is once again displayed today.
