On August 6, 2020, the Shanxi Drought-resistant Sorghum Industry Cluster Project (Taiyuan) review meeting was held at Zilin Vinegar Industry.

 

 

This meeting was organized by the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Leaders from the provincial and municipal agricultural and rural departments attended, including Wang Yuanrong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Guo Zhihong, member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Experts in sorghum industry, food industry, and planning and design, as well as project leaders, were also invited to participate.

The Shanxi Drought-resistant Sorghum Industry Cluster is one of the 50 advantageous and characteristic industrial clusters approved for construction by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Finance in 2020. This project will focus on the construction of the entire industrial chain, including base construction, mechanized planting and harvesting, storage and preservation, on-site primary processing, deep processing, modern distribution, and brand cultivation, to promote the improvement of the development level of advantageous and characteristic industries.
